I believe we all expected that the number of cases would rise as the lockdown eased. The medical community is better equipped and they now have a better protocol for treatment so a small increase should be tolerable considering what else we gain as a society that is opening back up.
RE: car sales
I just went electric too. I went with the latest Greenworks 60V. I like it a bit more than the Ego for a variety of reasons and it has been great so far. I don’t think you can go wrong with either brand. I really like the new 60V trimmer and even though the Ego looks a thousand times cooler (nice design, carbon fiber…

I agree, although I am not in the market for cars anywhere near this price range.
It doesn’t make Musk look like a fool at all. He was told that his company couldn’t open. He said he was going to take steps to make it safe and then re-opened anyway. What is ridiculous is that it had to come to this in the first place.

It’s not just this though. In the other recessions you could still go to an open car dealer and buy a car the normal way. Right now, that isn’t possible in most states so you can’t even begin to compare these numbers to past economic downturns.
Why not just say you need a mask and go for it? That is pretty much the CDC recommendation and what “essential” businesses are following right now.
Remember to read the news and keep an open mind.
This is a feature, the car is getting lighter by the day.
Have to laugh a little at this:
I get more than you can imagine. Having access to transportation or the ability to fix your mode of transport is something most people would deem essential. You start out stating your idea to be giving essential employees a free car. The next phase of your thought is that maybe people can borrow a car or lend a car to…
Are you joking? I think the gov welfare goes pretty deep as it is, especially now. Do you know how many people are considered essential? The list is very long and isn’t just related to health care workers and grocery store folks.
