Part of the problem is what you list, price of electricity, but I have a slightly different take on it.  Like gasoline, it varies quite a bit around the country.  I would love electricity at $0.13/kW but it is around $0.22-0.24 right now for me. If I then had to tack more on as a fee at a charging station, I might as

Completely missing the point.  It has to come up for a vote.  Democrats are not going to hand the president a win with less than 12 months to the election.

I can tell you that even though my 1935 house isn’t that well insulated, my neighbors first gen Viper will wake you up no matter what. Fortunately, I am up earlier than most, even on weekends and sadly he only drives it a few times per year.

I signed up to be an uber driver for a minimum of 2 weeks to get $1,000 off my Hyundai. Signed up using my old Passat TDI that needed to be bought back. Cancelled once everything cleared at the dealership, they contacted me a few days later for more proof which was just a screenshot of my profile. Never drove a mile

My problem, and likely a lot of other folks, is that there is a lot more to it than what you list. I am not saying it shouldn’t be tried because even a small reduction of cars on the road near me in Boston would make a considerable impact on my commute. For the folks that have the lifestyle and flexibility to let

Wait until he learns that there are about 20-22 holidays each year, the works council system, and the fact that German Engineering is the biggest marketing gimmick ever.  He will never be able to move operations and getting rid of employees is nearly impossible.

All of us elder Millennials lived through these things. Hell, even corded remote controls and no remotes at all.

Team O’Neil is in NH.  This is standard NH wear.

I used to think that scooters like the “Rascal” were pure vaporware. Then we took the kids to Disney last year... scooters everywhere.

I am the same height. My only point of reference was sitting in a Challenger at an auto show a decade ago. I remember thinking that for how big it is on the outside it sure is small on the inside, especially the rear seat.

The use of “Ewww” by a grown man is way worse than the serialized plaque.

Infrastructure expansion needs to be a thing if we keep adding more people to the mix. Sure, there are several alternatives to explore for small segments of the population like working remotely, better public transportation, etc but if population levels never stabilize and keep growing then you have to add capacity.

Anything that can be tied to automotive and transportation in regards to politics is fair game which I believe was the same for Deadspin if they had followed the new rule.

Or the Washington Post, or really any other large publication.  Just don’t be blind that the bias you see is the only bias.

I have the opposite reaction to the Stelvio, it stands out next to the ubiquitous Q5. I agree though, I think it could certainly look even better and would like a little more Alfa uniqueness in a refresh.

As long as you put them back on before walking around the cabin.

Maybe. Other things to consider are mileage, cost of repairs and if the car fits your needs. If you can get a considerable amount more selling it at 7 years old vs 9-10 years old, at least you can use that equity towards a new to you car that might be better at some things for this stage of your life.

If you consider $500 to $1,200 expensive for a dishwasher.  That is kind of standard cost for any brand, Bosch is pretty competitive.  Most other mfgs have caught up though.

Seeing more info now. Looks like 142 hp, 192 lb-ft, range of 130 WLTP which likely means around 115 miles of range in the US. This would be a fine commuter scooter for me given how I typically use my car by charging every night and I would also have a back up of a regular ICE (wife’s Enclave). If we both needed to

No kidding. Town south of Boston with around 25k people. $100m town budget, $52M of that to schools and that is never enough. My taxes have nearly doubled in 11 years. Mass has very well compensated teachers compared to other states.
