Nope, he probably wants to get away from people in general.

Yes, 110/120 V. I just double checked the other day. When it kicks to hybrid mode it has a stated 14-15% charge left and will dip into the 8-9% range in hybrid driving after. If I was to start charging at the 15% it lists a stated 7 hours, 20 minutes to full charge which seems right.

Laugh until the funding dries up and what should be a promising company and something good for the US, solid jobs in a variety of pay grades, get wiped out and replaced with the EVs coming from all of the other mfgs.

He can even make money by using it as a hearse on the side. Just need the equivalent for Uber for dead people to be created.

More Genesis every week around Boston. Way more than CT6 which are still rare. I think the Genesis models have a strong presence and I notice them all the time. They really are a good looking car and after sitting in a few at the dealership I have to say they are nice on the inside as well.

For reference, the 9.8kWh battery in my ‘16 Sonata PHEV seems to get to a stated end of charge around 20% if driving in EV mode (~27-31 miles depending on speed and regen). At that moment, it automatically goes back to hybrid mode and will not allow you to go to pure EV unless you charge it with the plug or use the

Down by the river?

That isn’t the right answer based on more EVs and hybrids on the roads but going the route of charging based on miles driven is not exactly what I want in my life either.

You missed the joke... Around here people comment as much about their hatred for Trump as their love for cars.

It was more that the target has shifted. Big buildings, public areas, air planes, etc all have better security or physical barriers to decrease the likelihood of an attack on them. The drive to harm, terrorize, kill, etc still exists in some people so they shifted to easier targets. There are likely several easier

RS has always meant a style enhancement, not performance. SS is for “go”, RS is “show”.

Wait, where can you buy a 2,400 sq ft house for under $155k ?!? This isn’t the early 90's in an undesirable area far from a major city...

Those bumper protectors and brush guards are mostly a NY/NY thing, not Boston.

My list is fairly short and most of the cars were driven mere miles but total “stick” time out of my roughly 400k miles of driving is about 300 miles. Starting with the highest number of miles driven is a G35 coupe, 2005 CTS-V (Bondurant!), 2001 Vette, ‘00 BMW 3 series and early “new” Mini. Of all of them, I have

Since I use my all season tires in all seasons including snow, if I am down to 4/32 nds they get replaced. Even at that depth which is considered fine there is a definite reduction in wet tire performance and definitely in snow performance.

I wonder how quick they can change out the items during the test? Even at that temperature, the snow and ice surface will change which has got to make it difficult to make the comparison.

For most, the fact that it is a rental car means it gets the cheapest fuel that burns, especially when filling it up and returning it to the counter.

I thought that most EVs take care of the whole 20% to 80% part for you. When you see 100% on your display after charging it is filled to the highest safe capacity level and will only discharge to a safe % before giving you several warnings that you are too low on power and you need to charge, then going into a limp

We don’t have as high of real estate costs in the Boston area but they are still high. You likely get a better than national average salary here but if you want an average house in a slightly above average town you are well into the upper $600k to $800k range. As much as I like cars, the house (location, neighbors,
