Some of the production workers I know have nicer cars than the engineers despite the fact that they make ~3x less.

A few things come quickly to mind as an owner (wife’s car) of a ‘14 Enclave. The Buick interiors are better than the terrible “truck like” interiors and they ride smoother and quieter. Oh, and we helped bring the average age down for Buick as we were 32 at the time.

I’ve yet to know anyone who has ever had a screen in their dash fail since getting out of the 80's. Not that it can’t happen but ease of replacement is not what the designer or engineer is going for.

Followed this Turo car the other day outside of Boston and it reminded me of this service. Easy to see as it has “TURO” on the plate and license plate frame. Not sure if it was the owner or not, seemed to be commuting home on Route 2 into Cambridge and on into Boston, a route I take often and that could be made more

I have looked right over the top of the windshield frame of the ‘01 Vette convertible I get to drive from time to time. So much better than ducking my head forward at most stops in any other car I have driven in the last 20 years.

Ask that to anyone of a height of maybe 6'2" or more in any car. I am at 6'5" and I haven’t been in a car that I can clearly see most stoplights forever. The windshield in the Model X would spoil me for sure.

Not surprising, can’t recall any GM or most domestic cars whining, it was always the imports that whined in reverse.

That is pretty bad that you think that way. But good for you getting to know every single voter who voted for Trump.

They must have been particularly sloppy for Maura to actually go after them... pretty soft and lame on everything else, especially the growing MSP disaster.

Which works fine unless the country you are importing to subsidizes the business or product internally so you can’t realistically have a chance at competing.

There typically won’t be a correct counterpoint on Jalopnik... mob stupidity at it’s best when it comes to politics. Anyway, everyone in this thread agreeing that he only loses 20% of his business by cutting out 20 miles from a radius doesn’t understand basic math so why should I believe him about Economics? BTW,

There is a fan of nearly everything automotive if you look hard enough. I have many likes in the world of cars but loving an old beat up minivan is not one of them.

The Chinese also want a stake in your operations that you set up in China - not cool. This is one of the reasons slowing down Telsa, isn’t it?  We don’t do that in the US. In fact, most municipalities will gladly hand you a tax break to build a factory.

So what are you? Which party owns their screwups?

There was an uproar over Obama and the status quo... it resulted in Trump getting elected.

Just to be a nit-picker, it was a lady driver.

Those companies would spend a ton of money and the company would still end up dead. I believe that the only chance is an established auto company buying them but they don’t want Tesla because at the current valuation, they can’t afford Tesla. The other manufacturers realize there is nothing special beyond the hype and

If it sounds anything like other Maseratis then this will sound amazing. The best time to be stuck in a tunnel in Boston is when there is a Maserati nearby or MB AMG willing to give into your child mentality to have them rev it.

Guessing that the window will not go down since it would run into this door. Maybe the real version will have a simpler slider.

That is why he is eating fast and from the middle of the hole.
