I like the look, but I don’t love the rear end they put on it.

Is this so that the rest of the world can join the US in buying mostly SUV’s? Will we see Europe and Asia join in our SUV/CUV only production value?

They will instead include pointless fuses that only last 10,000 miles. Then once that number is hit, *poof*, up it goes, and the replacement cost will be $2,000 per fuse.

I have absolutely no experience overlanding, but I know that many of you do.

Not quite the same, but I love the floaty feeling of a land yacht at higher speeds. That is when it is at it’s yachy(iest) and I can drive for hours in straight shots. The gas tank on the other hand does not allow for that. But land yachts are not good for corners, something we all know.

The CVCC with the updated engine is the one that intrigues me most. That era of Honda was my favorite.

They might be conformal coated.

I doubt they are doing active thermal management. But considering this lived in California, it probably didn’t need the warming part of thermal management to heat up the battery. And since this isn’t pushing too much, at too fast a speed, passive cooling for the batteries is probably sufficient.

Looking forward to seeing the electric van version of this coming down the road at me.

That beautiful green color. What a good find for a reasonable price!

I prefer Razon, a mix of “Rivian” and “Amazon”. Plus it evokes images of raisin’s being driving around.

But what I really came to discuss today was a very specific aspect of the RX500's design — its lighting situation, particularly at the back.

That Soarer intrigues me, but the lack of any interior shots while stating “high quality interior” makes me leery.

So that when they tire of it in a year, I can buy it at a more reasonable price! Let them pay full price for all the things!

I hope you get this one David! If I buy any tickets and win, I’ll let you have it.

Agreed. The seamless look is nice, but I would rather be able to block all the suns rays, then let it cook the plastics in my car at all times.

I can definitely see a difference in the front of the vehicle.

If you had the choice again, would you choose this or a Pickman?

Is that slide real? It is impressive!

This is what I hoped for in the industry. I thank Tesla for pushing the other automakers to change their engineering focus. Now we are getting competitive technology from the other automakers, which is going to push things along. Good news all around.
