I am guessing he just suggested the idea to the class, and they actually voted it into being. For a autoshop class this would be an awesome project. I am sure the students loved it. Who doesn’t want to make a unique vehicle.

It looks much better than most projects like this I have seen. Many hands make conversions work?

Is this considered a Shooting Brake? Or a hatchback? Where is Torch to help us understand?!

It doesn’t need a 15 foot rise. Each time it rises a few inches, it soaks more of the bedrock, which unfortunately in most of Florida is limestone.

That box truck is the most interesting to me. Since those usually do the end of the line deliveries, I can see them making a big impact.

Also thought about this.

We are waiting for you to arrive here on the west coast!

I am going to vote for 20 miles. Grom’s are meant for running around the neighborhood, car racing paddock, etc. This is not meant as a main transport.

Having been an owner of one, this is accurate. Definitely not sexy, definitely not “fun”, but very good at moving people efficiently. It was also much more useful for moving items than I expected. Definitely a hatchback. I always averaged ~44 mpg.

I need a calculator for the different range estimators. EPA vs NEDC vs WLTP vs NEDC 2.0?

Mmm. There has been a lack of van content. Thank you for righting that wrong Bradley.

I think this is an estimate that would be good to have on all electric trucks.

That Celica Supra has those good looks. Just beautiful.

Yeah. They were one of the most overcomplicated cars in the 90's. Lots of electronics. 4 wheel steering as well as AWD. And yet I still want it. I imagine if you buy it, you will easily spend that asking price in repairs over it’s time in your life.

No need for a windshield, but maybe put in a lip so that the flow goes over your head? Ala Indycar windscreens?

I should look this up, but does a batteries life span suffer in any way if it is being charged at these high rates? I just wonder about battery longevity with the very high voltage chargers.

In the shape it is in, it is hard to feel bad for it as a classic. I believe it has passed from classic to “rustic”.

True, but it will be beautiful to see another FC back on the road!

Just wait until you have the FC under electric power. Then you’ll enjoy some zero wait torque.

Retractable hard tops. They will always break, and always cost thousands to fix, but I love the idea.
