I watched last night when I finally had time and as Oberyn was dancing around and showboating, even glancing at his lady love, I barely breathed. The scene was intense and DAMN George R.R. Martin...just damn him.

It depends on what your definition of difficult to care for is. Their start up needs are specific (and optimal caging anandf feeding are hotly debated in the hedgehog owning community). However, as a day to day thing it's just a matter of fresh water, food, and a warm enough living space for the pokey little thing.

Great. And now, shelters will be filled with little hedgies, who people bought for their horrible children before they realized that, gee, you actually have to care for living things, and hedgehogs actually have quills. Humans ruin everything. The internet only makes it more efficient.

This scares me. Hedgehogs are not the easiest pets to care for. I've had one and I really hope that anyone considering getting one does the research first. I feel like you could easily kill it, if you don't know certain things. Like, they have to be kept between 70 - 80 degrees constantly. Otherwise they'll go into
