I think the slime is used quite reasonably in the game. I saved myself from a horrible death when I noticed a puddle of drool underneath a vent opening in which the xeno was lying in wait.

As someone who hasn't read either book (though I intend to read both because I like Locke and Key), "guy wakes up with mystery horns" is just a more enthralling concept than "guy is harassed by a ghost."

One of the many improvements series two made to the first - the theme song. It's such a memorable musical arrangement - flutes and electric guitar - and it's used to fantastic style in the intro. I feel it would have been worth a mention that the crawling snake concept is a direct parody of I Claudius's opening:

Adventure Time is wildly inconsistent. I look back at listings of episodes from previous seasons, and I'm actually kind of shocked how unmemorable many of the episodes were. Also, the two main characters are regularly completely upstaged by the supporting cast.

Are you sure? There's some interesting opportunities to update the setting. Instead of writing letters to each other, Ignatius could read Myrna's posts on Tumblr and post his rants on Reddit!

I thought Baylon 4 was constucted to be able to move and B5 didn't include that feature due to finance issues?
