correct, he was indicted in Texas for breaking Texas state laws, in addition to breaking federal laws (specifically: the attempted sale/purchase of baby parts in an attempt to entrap PP is a BIG federal no-no)
just the “attempted sale of baby parts” falls under federal jurisdiction. the rest are state level offenses. The raid is likely tied to breaking Californias 2-party consent laws (ie: filming the sting videos without consent of all party’s)
in this case though, he is actually being charged on Federal Crimes (specifically the “attempting to sell/procure baby parts” is a federal crime/charge brought upon by the Texas Grand Jury), so no such luck here, as this is very much “presidential pardon-territory”. But there is at least one glimmer of hope here...…
