He's just going on a walkabout of the North.

Because Jon is not going to save Bran, it's going to be some Coldhands stand-in or an attack of white walkers. Jon will be too late.

Same argument that has been made against the books. So rape is "realistic" to the "medieval world" but zombies, magic and dragons are totally ok? It seems to me that it says something when fantasy elements are a more acceptable break of historical reality than doing away with endless rape and the non-stop

"and I just stay silent, nod my head and cackle on the inside."
Ah, that inner GRRM all we book readers carry inside.

Yes, when he's bought out with a knighthood and a lower nobility wife.

Burn Gorman.. is he related to Get Carter?

Yes, and also strangely at a place where Oleanna did NOT want to talk incriminating stuff with Sansa earlier lest they be heard. Confessing to killing Joff? No prob!

The master is still polishing his descriptions of feasts and banquets, so of course someone would have to take care of the actual story.

Same for me. I think it'd have been entirely valid had Craster blood-sacrificed the babies to buy good will with the Others. That they went ahead and straight out showed you how an Other is made is a HUGE deal.

"Movie Faramir". That was perfect.

No..noooo… NONONONONOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Now the only reason to read the books will be the lavish descriptions of food.

HAHAHAHA.. that's funny

THE KING IN THE SNOW!

Maybe not the grille, but definitely we need the blue beard.

The Yoko Kanno music should also get a mention in what makes it a great show. Great work as always from her all the way.

Saw the pictures for the live action one and my heart skipped a beat.. . I love how *right* the technology looks.
Yeah WXIII felt like a cheat both to the story itself (which is ok, not bad) and the audience who went in expecting a Patlabor film only to begrudgingly feature a glorified cameo at the end.

I have. I liked the first one better at the time, but it's very well done. Time to see those again!

Absolutely. Patlabor always seems to have a dominion of mood and ambience that is pretty much unrivaled.

I'd say Paranoia Agent is his magnum opus.
