I’m reformed. Went a little nuts on a flash-modded 360 a few years ago. Found I felt not only guilty, but had little appreciation for the games I had. Went out, bought a regular, slim 360, bunch of used games, a few new ones, and some live titles. Actually felt pretty good to “go straight”.

I’ve been going to Tokyo regularly for about 14 years. I was there last October and was highly disappointed in the arcade scene. The floor space is dominated by “claw” games. And some music games, and a few shooty games.

All emulators are like hypervisors, at least in the sense that they allow to create and manage a virtual machine capable of running software designed for a specific piece of hardware (be it an Amiga workstation, or a game boy).

Exactly - if you thought Fallout 3 / New Vegas were deeply flawed games desperately in need of a completely retooling, you’re clearly not the target demo.

You mean the engine that ran at a steady 30fps on the old consoles, and an easy 1080p/60fps on a decent PC?
