I agree it's a big deal - I live it every day. I would say that being a code monkey is not sweet career it once was, because it's altogether too easy to off/onshore. But IT and infrastructure are still huge and complex, and require local teams to maintain, design, architect, and operate.

This is actually very, very wrong. I work in a humongous IT company, and they are dying to hire more women into IT, hardware, and software engineering roles.

I agree that it has a handful of outrageously good games. But it simply doesn't cut it as the only console in the house. If you care about games, and are older than 11, you absolutely need a second console if you have a WiiU.

I say this as a PS4 owner: XB1 has the better exclusives so far, by a fair margin. I got the PS4 strictly on hardware, and the promise of the best console version of 3d party games. I don't regret it so far, but I wouldn't have minded having a go at Forza Horizon 2 or Halo MCC.
