I’ve only had it turn really awkward once, and that was with a guy who was really into various substances. Usually people’s reactions are neutral and sometimes they’re even positive. Maybe you can say “I’m taking a break from drinking”? That’s pretty common nowadays anyway, with “dry January” and whatnot.

This year has not been easy by a long shot, but I’ve had a lot of amazing artistic opportunities come up. I’m kind of surprised that so much happened in a short period of time, that I’m like, “how did I get here and who thought I was qualified for any of this?” But the truth is that I’m doing it, and I *am* qualified!…

Yup, and did you like how the video repeated the same footage twice to make it seem like it might actually contain something substantial?

How’s everyone doing with their winter and holiday shopping? Anyone buy or receive anything good? I just bought new winter boots today because we had a surprise snow storm a few weeks ago and I was not prepared. I also got myself a cozy sweater and some nice candles.

Yes, companies definitely do this, but I feel like when I hear about “fast fashion,” one of the criticisms is people are constantly going through clothes.  And I just don’t think that’s true! Maybe I’m gentle with my clothes but I wear them for a really long time too.  

Yeah, this is crazy to me.  Do people actually throw clothes away?  There are so many other things you can do with old clothes! 

I have a pair of jeans that is literally from 15+ years ago. They used to be flares, I converted them into skinnies. They got a stain, so I dyed them darker. The knee ripped out so now they’re even more trendy. ;)

My Finnish friend said maybe they don’t have forest fires because they don’t drain their swamps. Zing!
