TNG is great too! I also love Voyager something fierce. Basically anything Trek makes me happy (as long as it’s not Into Darkness, lol). And even though I am not in love with Enterprise yet, there's something very comforting about the formulaic nature of the episodes.
If you haven’t watched other Treks, I’d say there are definitely better series you could start with (DS9 probably being the best written, IMO). But if you’ve already seen those, Enterprise is worth watching. :)
I just posted in another thread about this, but I’m watching Star Trek: Enterprise on Netflix. I’m a huge ST fan but never got around to finishing this show, so I’ve been binge-watching it all week while I dick around on the computer. :D
I like “escape the room” type games — some good series are The Room (more serious/kinda dark but with really good graphics) and Escape Adventure (faster to play through and lots of different games/stories).
Leftovers! I had brunch with friends this morning and took half my food home. A veggie and ricotta omelette, potatoes, and toast. Leftovers are my second favorite food group, after snacks.
I’ve been marathoning Star Trek: Enterprise on Netflix. I’m still not sure how good I think it is, but it’s enjoyable at least.
I got that for Xmas too, it was a lovely read. :)
What a prick! Try to remember that you did nothing wrong. It’s not on you to react a certain way when someone does something like that to you, because you were not the one acting like a jerk. I know what you mean, though; I too have been disappointed in myself when I let something sexist or rude slide instead of…
Ohhhh man, what a pretty baby! Happy birthday Sabrina!
Hi, I’d love to be ungreyed. I lurk more than I comment, but I’ve been on Jez for years (I don’t know how long, but since the “starred commenter” thing was still a thing).
I think you have to wear certain clothes, but I can't remember what they are right now.
One of my high school friends’ parents made her do this also... except she played the bassoon. -_-
You have to find something you like if you want to stick with it. For me, that’s martial arts and metal yoga (what it sounds like, lol). If you’re already interested in yoga, that’s probably a good place to start! You may feel self-conscious but I guarantee that in a good yoga studio, no one will be judgmental. Look…
Circa 1998, I had this cerulean blue sweatshirt with “ESPRIT” in big rainbow iridescent letters on the front, and I loved it so much.
I’m sure she would be happy to hear that! Beautiful does not mean flawless, anyway. :)
Oh, phew. Man, the internet is hard sometimes. ;)
Wasn't trying to be snarky, sorry if it came off that way. :(
