What are you all up to tonight? I’ve been getting back to my roots with some Pokemon on Netflix. Here’s some pretty fanart of my faves (image credit):

Co-signed!

I used to think that I would change my last name, because I don’t have a big family or anything like that where there’s a lot of significance to the name. But now I plan on keeping it on principle.

The last time I flew, they checked my hair, which was in a single braid (and I have the world’s finest hair). But I always opt out of the full-body scanner, which means I get to enjoy a really thorough pat-down.

I feel the same way. Congratulations, that’s cool, but ultimately someone’s engagement is not all that interesting to me.

Sure, it’s definitely a weapon and I’m pretty sure they’re illegal in New York to boot! They aren’t a very good weapon, though. I’ve been zapped with one and they feel like a bee sting or a rubber band snapping hard on your wrist. You’re not convulsing on the ground like can happen with a Taser. I teach self-defense

That’s not a Taser, and what’s pictured in the article itself isn’t a Taser either. It’s a “stun gun.” They sound scary but won’t really hurt you like a Taser can.

Your dad sounds awesome!

Eeeewww “reel men,” get outta my borough with that noise.

Seconded!

I would love that! I’ve done a few Meetups but there are very limited ways to chat or otherwise interact online via Meetup.

“I reject your reality and substitute my own.” - Adam Savage. Because I was a romantigoth fantasy nard.

I have been going to “heavy metal yoga” for a couple of months and the music keeps me from getting bored with it. \m/

Great advice regarding the bed/linens. When my SO and I moved in together we splurged on a nice mattress and box spring. Having a comfy bed makes a big difference!

Anyone who doesn’t respect Star Trek is a dishonorable petaQ!

I’m a music teacher for grades K-5. I teach general music for K-4 and band for 4-5. Teaching band is what I love the most but my school isn’t big enough to require a full-time band teacher. I also started the band program myself so I have a lot invested in it, and don’t want to look for a job at another place just

I watch Star Trek. An optimistic view of the future helps cheer me up.

I’m afraid I have no advice to give, but I wanted you to know that I have been reading your posts for months now, and I think you are incredibly strong and a great mom. Don’t give up.

“I <3 Female Orgasm” is the book that literally taught me how to orgasm, so really, I can’t recommend it enough. ;)

Hey, we’re the same weight! ;) You look awesome!
