I don’t know that “open-world” would apply to the game, as it’s a very self-contained map (all takes place on a spacestation, including the space in the immediate vicinity outside the station), however one of the key components of the game is the ability to make your way through the different areas of the station in

Unfortunately the whistle (or half-assed attempt at it, anyway) pretty well destroys anything that happens after it’s blown. You can’t fault a goalie for losing a puck after hearing a whistle - of course, when the goalie never actually establishes any sort of control that makes the whole situation that much worse.

I also love their narrative that the ref couldn’t possibly see what was going on... As he was standing directly over them... and watching... for 15 seconds...

I think Overwatch may be one of the only games that I say the words ‘I’m really not enjoying this,’ after almost every single match, and then press on and play for another hour. My mistake. I had wondered if that was right as I never saw them put the headset on to contact ‘the booth.’

They apparently had very clear video evidence that the blade of Forsberg back skate left the ice before the puck had completely crossed over the blue line, meaning it was an offsides play and negating everything that happened for the 40 seconds that followed. You know... hockey.
