It’s gold, damnit!

Based on what? Go around Nashville on any day (especially during the season) and you’re sure to find an abundance of fans that know their hockey better than any asshat from Chicago or New York or god forbid California.

It’s nice that you ‘love’ it and all, but your reductionist statement proves that you don’t know

I guess you should get started on that letter to the editor. You’ve chosen an admirable fight though, I hope you expend any and every resource to rectify this egregious error. Godspeed, my friend.

To be fair (obligatory reply preface statement, it seems), the national commentators from NBC couldn’t be bothered to learn Predator or Blue’s players’ names on a regular basis, much less remember what teams they were actually commenting on, so I’m willing to give a pass to a local news station that’s never had to do

Predators/Blues, Game 3. PK Subban got blatantly checked way, way behind the play by (I believe) Edmunson, and caught a stick to the face in the aftermath. He fell to the ice clutching his face (he was already falling) - to be fair, in real time, I thought he was playing it up as well (and I’m a Nashville homer). But

That was a real roller coaster ride for Philly fans last year (I’m not one, just friends of some)... For the first half of the season it looked like Minnesota completely fleeced the Eagles out of a suddenly competent Bradford in exchange for a 25+ place first-round pick.

Actually thd hit happened in the first. The goal allowed to the fore-mentioned, probably concussed player happened in the third.

This might help.

It’s worth mentioning/remembering that they did this without Craig Smith and Colin Wilson in their lineup, who have both been absolutely killer in the postseason the past few years... if they get healthy and come back strong, they could become even more imposing than they seemed in this series.

Yeah, I love how this is the takeaway from the series. That and Toews scoring his first goal. No need to mention the lights out hockey that Nashville played against a #1 powerhouse seed...

That, is not how, commas work.

This was my thought too. If you’re going to spend half your day clearing a 30 square foot area and still have to drive through a quarter mile of snow to get to the road... why bother clearing the 30 square feet? I guess just to teach your 6 year old the value of pointless, back-breaking labor.

.

Don’t worry, it will happen one day...

Probably like 40% of the gaming population? But sure, let’s make a massive deal out of someone who games on a different platform explaining things in their own context. Oh, and positively use all caps - always a classy move.
