So if a religion requires human sacrifice, the first amendment protects them too?

And we’re accusing China of trying to cover up the reality.....

Honestly, calling a spade a spade is the best course of action in every case. So I’m calling you a stupid troll, because the truth is better than a lie.

This site doesn’t lean towards blind jingoism, idiocy, and a lack of critical thinking.

I like to show people who don’t wear their masks right this picture:

I find the irony of Jewish people playing all these santa roles to be hilarious.

I’d immediately reinvest that money into small businesses, restaurants, etc. The economic benefit of direct cash payments is hugely stimulative, because people immediately go out and start spending it, which creates more demand, supply has to ramp up, more people get hired. It makes way more sense than corporate

I think the idea of earlier retirement is a great idea, it frees those jobs up for the next generation.

Floating hospitals?

I used to spend a lot of time in a little town that was a cruise ship stop on the yucatan. The ship would come into town and then people would stay in the port area, which was almost all staffed by cruise ship people, very few locals, and the passengers were warned that the town was dangerous. “Look guys, I can only be okay with terrible labor practices for 6 years. That’s my limit”

Doesn’t good beer self carbonate though?

Its like people won’t be satisfied with the response to this unless there’s mass graves all over the country or something. I don’t get it. We managed to avert disaster (so far anyway), and people are pissed off that we did.

The emergency management planners for this kind of thing have to look at worst case scenario and operate as if that’s what’s going to happen. When it doesn’t, the public gets all pissed off because the predicted disaster wasn’t as bad as they thought. But....had they not planned and talked about the worst case

I think the emotional support part is what most presidents have dogs for.
