Yeah, I really don’t think that an editorial from a foreign media company is going to cost anyone an election.

Agreed! I think that we need to look into alternatives to the BWR and PWR reactors we’ve been using for a long time, the design is decades old and there are much safer ways to generate electricity that have zero chance for a meltdown if the cooling water is shut off.

Not sure if Abe Simpson or Donald Trump

right? seems like if there was a crossing like that it would have been a good idea to maybe talk with the railroad to make sure there weren’t any trains coming before the crossing? I dunno.

If it really was Carhartt, it would have that brown canvas upholstery.

My company is the same, I usually pay out of pocket after buying the ticket for the upgrade.

I don’t know that race necessarily has anything to do with it. There’s plenty of pastors of every color who are total grifters.

Are your neighbors cavemen?

That’s 100% what happened at my last job. They whittled my department down to just me by attrition, and when I finally decided to quit they panicked but couldn’t get approval to replace me, and people in the departments attached to mine started to leave too. Basically they screwed themselves over keeping headcount low.

Right? It should be like a 5-10 second job to grab it, lower it, and be on your way.

Oh man, CRJs are the worst. Whenever I have to fly somewhere I’m like “Hmmm...maybe it’ll make more sense to just get the mileage reimbursement and drive” but invariably there’s not enough time to do it.

I’ve gone back and forth over who I think the bad person is in this whole thing, and it seems like they’re both toxic people for sure. That was probably how they ended up getting together in the first place, through doing really toxic stuff together.

Right? That’s a big WTF....what does this dispute have to do with civil liberties?

Also, if its not on actual county property (they don’t own the water) how can it be taxed as property? I mean I can see taxing the area its docked at as private property, but beyond that, its on the water.

This is it exactly, all they hear about is how the world outside their bubble is so awful, so they never leave, its a feedback loop of toxic beliefs.

You sure carry a lot of water for Putin in this post, comrade.

Its also pretty convenient to be able to spend a few weeks or months at a time in international waters.

Oh, and the instant road rage if you happen to flash or give them a little beep beep.......That’s why I stay in the city.

Crypto is definitely intentionally let to run a bit rampant because its actually pretty easily tracked once you have a good understanding of the underlying tech.

I had a 93 escort LX 5 speed wagon as my first car. I think the only things in the ‘LX’ package were AC and power mirrors. Everything else was manual. Sure, it kind of sucked, but it got me through several Phish summer tours with nary a problem, and even when it was on its last legs it never left me stranded anywhere.
