That scene (and many in the movie and series) is just SO MUCH LONGER than it needs to be, and that's what makes it so funny for me.

My husband and I were quoting this scene while making toast this morning, terrible southern accents and all. Josh Charles is such a wonderful surprise in this series.

After watching all 8 episodes, Meloni is definitely my series MVP.

Those two lines were the highlight of the episode for me.

That's what the major appeal of WHAS is for me. Just these sudden, amazing one liners that literally have me laughing out loud. This line was perfect.
