It’s hard to tip over if you can’t go over 30mph.
I had a 78 F-150 that had a ‘Turn me over if you can read this’ bumper sticker. I rolled it while towing my boat (boat OK, truck totaled). Every emergency worker that responded wanted a picture of them stranding next to the sticker.
Yeah. I’m not in love with the body kit over stock, but it’s unique and looks good. Door cards are beautiful, everything is beautiful.
I’d call this car a NP if it had a working speedo and AC. I’m not a fan of most mods, but the Miata looks good dressed up as a classic British roadster. CarTalk used to describe the Miata as a classic British roadster that will actually start every time you want to drive it. The seller has made some nice updates to…
I wanna like it. The body kit looks like it has potential, but...You did the front, but not most of the back. You did the door cards, but not the seats. This is a half-assed half-done job of this customization. There’s no way that half-assing doesn’t continue into the mechanical bits, and even if it doesn’t, that much…
Thanks! Did 4 reloads now just to be able to reply to your comment. Strange how Jalopnik struggles with something as simple as a comments section, pretty much everyone else has had the tech nailed down for a decade or so.
I have the same problem. A reload or two usually does the trick. It’s sucks, but it’s the world we live in.
Whoa! This is the first article in weeks where I can actually see the comments. Anyone got suggestions for what’s wrong/what I can do to revive the comments field on the other Jalopnik articles?
I can imagine the following conversation in Boston:
Very well done.
This just in:
Two times three is not eight!
Actually, there are eight exhaust ports—one per exhaust valve—and they each get their own outlet pipe.
For the record, Koenigsegg told me that I was wrong about the front axle ratio being tall, saying, “No, it is not tall, it is correct.”
I was getting pretty frustrated at the lack of Free-valve mentioning until I noticed the largest section dedicated to it. Thanks for this as it has to be one of the best inventions to come to a “production” engine. Can’t wait to see it filter down to Big OEMs.
I cannot quantify how awesome this article is.
ok so I read the article but just real quick can you explain the part about..um...the car...again?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Christian Von Koenigsegg and his company are a bunch of geniuses. Leave it to the Swedes to truly innovate the automotive world and perhaps even save the ICE. The hybrid technology and everything these guys have is out of this world. I can’t wait until the FreeValve…
A 2 litre, freevalve, 3 cylinder... I bet it sounds like an i8, on steroids, rolling on PCP.
