Despise is a strong word, but everything that was ever cool about these was drowned in the bathtub ages ago.

I mean, I was kinda shocked to learn that it was made to coat the outside of rockets to keep them from rusting. I used it to do the same thing with my bridgeport mill and was pretty unimpressed. Literally any kind of oil worked better than WD-40 at keeping the bare metal rust-free.

Hey now, that’s prime real estate. We can’t have modestly priced apartments attracting the poors near our multi-million dollar pads.

Remember when the GTI had 180 hp.

Geez, The car everyone wanted in highschool had 91 hp and Mazda is scared with almost twice that.

1) 178hp is plenty for a little hatchback.

Give me a NB Miata with that little engine in it. I’ll be quite happy and it MIGHT keep me from buying another FB RX7...

He’s only yelling at the Cloud because that’s where he stored all his important photos, and now they’re not there anymore.

That was my thought back when he came up with this rating system in 2018.

At what age does a company lose its ‘start up’ title? 17 years after it was founded? 12 years after its first car came out? 1 Million cars sold? 100 years old?

Rivian seems like it is further along than just 3.5 hyperloops. More than just mere investments, they signed a deal to build 100,000 vans for Amazon, and Ford is going to use their skateboard chassis/drivetrain for an electric pickup, and possibly a Lincoln SUV. They have an actual factory, and are currently road-showi

I think the ratings should be reversed to reflect the fact that functional hyperloops do not yet exist. Zero imaginary things should represent production of real objects.

As a very proud Mazda owner, with an I-ELOOP equipped 6.  The biggest drawback is the goddamned battery. The Q85 OE battery is stupid expensive and will last less than 50K miles for sure.  I replaced mine with a Optima yellow top with no problems so far. If I get another 10K out of it, it will be more cost effective

Now correct that $500 typical car for inflation: $7500. For that price you got a death trap with a low horsepower flathead four-banger with cable-operated brakes that only went to the back wheels—no brakes up front. And it rode on skinny tires with no grip. All that “utility” for $7500 in 2020 dollars—wow.

I will take an airplane engine with a smidgen of car on the side.

big ostentatious coupes have secured a fair chunk of my heart. the closest ill be to owning anything like this is the 39 ford roadster my grandfather and i are restoring. but it is a relatively tiny vehicle compared to cords bergs and bentleys. hell it pales in comparison to the similarly styled lincoln of the day

We’d like to promptly announce we are pulling all operations out of Washington state. - BMW.

A fine looking Kia if you ask me.

That face is hideous

Couldn’t Porsche just install a larger turbo to increase the range?
