“ I do wonder what it means when a creator’s work is so easily changed. Does it mean the integrity of the original artistic work wasn’t that important to them?”

Or does it mean that it’s okay to look at something, say “I’m ethically not okay with this and I think they made a bad decision, which does perpetuate actual

Yeah, it’s a good principle to never throw someone under the bus when taking over their work. You don’t know what constraints and terrible external problems they had to deal with while creating.

Yeah it sounds like the kind of answer you give when nobody’s thought about how to architect that yet. Which makes me sad :(

It’s fine as an *option*, but I’d like other options. My phone is kind of overloaded with apps anyways. And a little slow. I’ll probably end up grabbing another phone just to use for this; but most of all I wish I didn’t have to hook up another device when playing not at my house

I wonder if it’ll launch with arms, or if the full thing won’t launch until it’s paid...

I’m kind of glad. I find them a distraction, they kind of feel somewhere between a pop-up ad and a “collect the items” side quest in a game where it doesn’t belong (and I’m kind of tired of those anyways).

If it’s appropriate for a given game I don’t mind too much, but I don’t like generalized systems that make games

at the *very least* also give me the option of running something on a laptop instead of my phone. at this rate I’m just going to be using discord instead.

well that’s not really his fault, he’s part of a group that decided they were only going to say this much and that was it. If he says more, then they decided (for some weird reason) they were going to announce that much but gave a piece to him for only him to announce in a later interview.

At any well-run large

They’ve had quite a bit of time, and don’t really need more. They need to stop assuming women don’t play games. That’s an old and bad assumption. They can just stop.

it *could* be amusing but some of the edgy 4chan bros out there will just take that as an opportunity to escalate. be careful.

It’s good advice depending on the context. If you’re hanging out with young, not very outdoorsy people, it’s good advice. If you’re at E3, it’s good advice (should be obvious, but....) If you’re hanging out at a rock climbing convention, maybe start with “do you play games?”

I do find it odd she’s still participating in other roles. I’m not going to be buying the game because I don’t want to support companies that go non-union during a strike. But this is a weird situation.

Yeah, I’m not going to be buying the prequel now.

You could say that about every strike in existence. Companies almost always attempt to continue on without the workers. It’s still important to negotiate for what you’re worth.

They’re not literally invisible, just very very small. Some people can probably see them if they go looking. And imaging tech definitely can capture it, and will save it if it’s set to a high enough resolution.

But similarly, you could use an image manipulation program to hide the watermark, but then there might be

Oh geez I never thought about that! Good tip.

Just use a black and white printer :)

Apparently not a huge capacity for demonstrating all of that crankiness, or in priority order.

But their shitheadedness gets more power to harm people when they’re backed by the *president*.

It’s more about rhetoric. The kinds of bigoted horrors we’ve seen historically didn’t just start all of a sudden with “welp, time to put Jews in concentration camps.” It’s about seeing more people in power: demonizing people who aren’t white/male, saying that white people are the only people to have invented
