I mean, they’re kinda shittily run compared to major game studios, but... the game is still fun to play for many, despite its flaws (honestly the crashing + battery life issues are what bothered me the most). I really don’t have a problem with just walking around with the app and seeing what I happen to come across.

Then what about providing opportunities to move and work in different places with more housing?

I don’t at all understand the decision to engage in anything that comes with this much harassment, but I guess it’s cool she’s making money off it

That sentence makes me go “NO NO NO NO NO” but even if a person willingly took roofies that doesn’t mean people are allowed to rape them.

I always have a hard time coming up with concrete examples of the kinds of things I was exposed to as a child that made me internalize these horrible ways of men and women relating... thanks for reminding me of another.

Oh shit, this is a really really really good point.

Yup, I think that’s exactly what he meant. And he’s not wrong. People have tended to date and marry within their own race more often for most of the U.S.’s history. I think the juxtaposition of that tendency, with the anti-tendency for Asian gay men that he describes, was exactly what he was describing.

Kirk. Make Kirk gay. Or bi, at least.

I don’t think it’s “cramming” anything more in there, because keep in mind: we’re not adding identities, we’re changing them. Being straight, cis, white, male, is not a lack of an identity - it is a different one, often assumed to be “default”, an assumption which brings many harmful consequences.

I thought the issue was faked screenshots, not that anyone actually got into her account.

I honestly can’t wait until the older ideas that jeans are “disrespectful” somehow die out. I live on the West Coast and everyone’s so much more relaxed about that and it’s so *nice*.

I’m a fan of Field Roast’s burger. Not really like meat, but I found it really hit the spot in terms of the right savory flavor and juiciness.

Zenyatta’s legendary skins are also pretty iffy (as are Roadhog’s pacific islander skins, which both of which end up look like a caricature of the cultures they’re supposed to represent), I think it was just a rhetorical choice to list only a few examples.

She isn’t Sombra, Sombra is a different hero. Sombra is Hispanic, Ana is Egyptian. Other clues around Sombra indicate that she’s more of a stealth-based hero.

What does this skin express other than “we thought this looked cool”?

And rad as hell is the most important consideration, not the fact that the US, which was built on the suffering and deaths of Native people, still steals from their culture and profits off it without Natives ever reaping any benefit from it.

FWIW any copy of them made wouldn’t *really* be them, so they’re still resting! :/

My current theory is that she opted to allow the harassment for her career to continue and possibly feels she’s in too deep/could be humiliated if it all came to light? idk. I like 60% believe that.

The lather thing is kind of bullshit in both directions; lather just indicates the presence of detergents, which are necessarily for cleaning oil off, but many shampoo companies put in unnecessary amount of detergents because customers will perceive the shampoo as more effective if it lathers more. So, more lather

Yup, yup. I have the same thing and also it seems like courses never last long enough. I get that doctors are reluctant to hand out antibiotics but like, i need lots of them >.>
