I went from “knowing” how to drive stick to dailying stick on my Civic. It was very forgiving and easily progressed from stalling a few times a day to a couple times a year when I did something stupid. When I taught someone the basics within half an hour she was driving around the parking lot and not having major

Just a guess here, but it may have to do with the fuel system degrading over time and how overly rich RX-7's run compared to piston engines. In an older RX-7 there are 3 parts where age would reduce fuel flow causing the car to run leaner: fuel pump power and ground lines, fuel filter, and fuel injectors.

Some rotary guys will occasionally run a vacuum line from the intake manifold into a gallon of distilled water and let the engine drink it. I’ve done it and definitely burned quite a bit of something off, but it’s a lot harder to hydrolock a rotary than an ICE.

Really? I thought with a BMW it was always $1000.

I was about 18 and had been hanging out with an ex (sort of, long story) who lived in the middle of nowhere. I had just had a cyst removed a few days earlier and we had gone to a theme park that day, so I had advil in a baggy because carrying a pill bottle wasn’t convenient.

Both engines were available from the start with the 6 discontinued halfway through the run. The 6 ended up being more expensive than planned so it didn’t sell very well.

I thought they were pretty ugly when they came out, but now I think they’re one of the better looking cars from that era.

It has a Porsche flat 6 rather than a VW flat 4.

Thank you, I was about to write out the same thing. Style is a huge part of how well a beer ages, the brewery’s packaging process is another. Most styles are just fine for 6 months at room or cellar temp.

Barleywine will age gracefully for a long time, if it’s fine after 6 months or so it should stay good until the seal on the cap can’t keep oxygen out. Most will improve with age for a few years as the alcohol and hops mellow. Most beers release something that can be consumed immediately but are meant for aging.

And now I know that the All-trac turbo version is surprisingly cheap to pick up even with reasonable mileage. Maintenance can’t be any worse than an RX-7 right?

Rich lawyer who doesn’t need to street park this. He’s either picking a fight that he can’t lose or getting back at someone.

The output of the compressor is actually at the end of the compression area right before where the top spark plug would usually sit. The exhaust comes back in after where the lower plug would normally be and expands then exhausts like normal. From the compressor’s view it’s just outsourcing the ignition step.

No pain. A mushy keyboard and to a lesser extent chiclet keyboards cause pain for me after a few minutes of typing. I didn’t have a problem through college but after a few years working in software development it started to become a real issue. Switching to mechanical boards stopped the pain even if I’m typing

He’s probably using cheese product and not real cheese.

I sat in a Miata. I didn’t fit.

When this happened to my mom both the police and insurance companies treated it as driver A’s fault. This was more clear cut than most cases as driver A was drunk and driving without a license (led off in handcuffs) and hit her at 10 over the limit while she and car C were stopped at a stoplight. Both her and car C’s

Because you have to build a software representation of the hardware to run the games on. Accurately modeling the hardware requires significantly more resources than the modeled hardware has itself. You can’t just map low level commands from one architecture to another.
