That’s nice. I guess you’ve never heard of internalized racism, either, even though it exists whether or not you’ve heard about it.

I’m mad she kept the goods; why give the store your money and the bitchass cashier any sales commission? I’d be way too heated to not fling it back in their faces, especially when I know I can buy LV stuff at many other places. Also because by the time I and my lawyer are done with them, they’d be paying for it…
I drive a Tesla, and I have experienced so many racists moments with strangers. I have been asked the following:
Saks is getting ready to get that work. The little details that show the clerk was profiling:
LOL, they tried it with that little apology and refund but she got herself an attorney. Well done, Ms. Hale!
That’s interesting that the cashier calls the cops to say the card is declined AFTER SHE GIVES THE RECEIPT to Ms. Hale.
Further proof of white privilege as apparently the casher feels only white people are privileged enough purchase such things. I mean, that woman couldn’t POSSIBLY have enough money to buy such things... legally.
I’m not against things because Donald Trump does them; I’m against Donald Trump because of what he does.
Yes, I am definitely saying the US should not have done it. There is no good in this, none at all, especially not in the geopolitical context of today. I don’t know why you’re trying to justify Trump’s entirely cynical and short-sighted decision here.
At this point, I’m treating the Tom Arnold tapes as the “Whitey tape” of the Trump administration. Until someone actually gets it and plays it publicly, I don’t want to hear about its existence.
Possibly true. Like I said in my reply to another commenter, I’m only reporting on what Burnett has put out there. He may have other motivations.
I don’t think Burnett wants to release it regardless of a nondisclosure agreement.
I agree. Survivor has been on for almost 20 years (!). A quick Google search tells me Mark Burnett’s net worth is nearly half a billion dollars - billion, with a B. I can’t imagine that breaking the NDA would destroy him financially. And isn’t Larry Flynt offering $10M for any info that gets 45 impeached? That would…
Apparently, Erik Prince, founder of Blackwater, together with a former CIA agent, has pitched the idea to Trump of creating a completely private, Republican-funded intelligence agency, which would report only to the president, under the reasoning that Trump cannot trust the so-called “Deep State.”
And that reason is BS. How long have Burnett’s horrible reality shows been on tv? He’s sitting on fuck you money and then some. The reason he won’t release the tapes is because he’s either loyal to Trump, doesn’t care or a lowkey Trump supporter.
The news media will bend over backwards refusing to call Trump a racist, and this refusal to deal with racism head on is what allows this kind of political sideshow to go all the way to the top.
The fact so many journalists avoid using the term racist to describe this president demonstrates the extent to which the truth comes second to the comfort of (white) readers.
Tom Arnold doesn’t have the tape. Mark Burnett, producer of The Apprentice, has the tape. Arnold keeps hassling Burnett to try to get him to release it.
Said Trump: “Whether you vote for me or don’t vote for me, I really want to be your greatest champion, and I will be your greatest champion.” That was at Miami’s Little Haiti’s Cultural Center, just before the elections. He went on to win Florida with enough Haitian votes to make a difference.
To be fair, he probably thinks Haitians are cannibals.
