That was my thought too. My husband is a tiny bit over 6'3" and I’ve seen him at 235 lbs (which is more or less his panic weight) and he’s a lot slimmer than Trump.

That’s kind of interesting. Are you talking about people who give up meat too? I know that I always surprised my midwives with how good my blood sugar levels were because I’m a vegetarian (I’m just super careful about getting enough protein and healthy fats, especially when pregnant).
I thought so too when she called and asked and the kids love it. They just don’t also need the glowing singing Elsa doll or whatever.
Excellent health my ass. That blood sugar level is really high; a point or two higher and it’s into abnormal. Add that to his weight and he’s almost certainly pre-diabetic.
That calcium score is also concerning. It’s from 3 years ago and he already had a score of 98. The range for “moderate” risk of heart attack is…
She’s pretty good about stuff like that. I haven’t been able to get that whole side of the family to cut down on getting ridiculous toys for the kids (my suggestion of activities instead of stuff got them an Aquarium membership and the ridiculous toys) but they’re generally very respectful of our parenting choices.
Every few years* my MIL asks if she can buy one of those for our kids. Luckily my husband and I are equally creeped out/repulsed by them and he has no problem telling her no.
*It’s not pushy, I think she just forgets
Did you see Sirano’s new collection? The portrait collar wrap dress is amazing.
Turkish delight is a candy; sort of a rosewater flavored gummy with pistachios in it.
Actually she has a BS in Economics, not an MBA. She also graduated cum laude which is not exactly “undistinguished” or average.
Again, I’m not insisting that she’s some amazing intellect, just that she seems too smart to believe her father’s bullshit.
I never said she was brilliant, just smart enough not to fall her father’s bullshit (which should be a pretty low bar).
Well I don’t know what you’d call it but I’d say that the way Trump and his children have described the way he treated them as kids at the very least a form of emotional neglect.
Well I haven’t tested her IQ myself.
That seems reasonable.
It has nothing to do with her attractiveness (at least for me). She just seems too smart to believe the bullshit and so it’s confusing.
I don’t know about that. She’s got lots of money of her own and I willing to bet that she knows more than anyone how precarious his financial situation it. Imo it’s much more likely to be emotional damage of some sort.
My point was really more that it might not have been deliberate. I’m not Jewish but one of my moms is (NYC born and raised to boot) and so are my step-siblings. I do occasionally say things that would fall under the umbrella of “Jewish syntax” but it’s never deliberate.
Places with rooms that size almost always require custom furniture (and as a result many are sold with the furniture). I may have watched a little too much Bravo for a few years.
edited because it won’t let me delete
She kinda is Jewish. She converted when she married her husband.
She seems so smart and capable and then she starts talking about her father. It’s got to be some sort of Stockholm Syndrome, right?
