As it is now it couldn’t (and where did I say it could?). What we do have is enough professional and college facilities that we wouldn’t need to build them. So much this! That was why the Baltimore/DC bid made sense. We already have most/all of the facilities we would need, tons of hotels, and any additional transportation infrastructure would still be useful after the games were over.
