My son is very pretty and has long hair so people frequently assume that he’s a girl even when he’s dressed in “masculine” attire (like button downs and cargo pants). Right now at 6 he’s too little for anyone to consider him to be a threat but I do worry about the future (especially since he’s autistic so his social

This is the “viral video” equivalent of a dad joke.

That was the original plan but now he’s leaving in May. He’s still not starting full time at GMA until August though.

Seems pretty reasonable to me. He is divorced, he does have kids, and none of it’s a secret.

LOLing at this being a “new trend” since that’s what my family did in the 70's. After my mom’s partner split with her husband and he was with another woman (who was also divorced) there just wasn’t enough money for two houses so they got an apartment and for the half of the week you didn’t have the kids you stayed

That sounds like a movie that should be made. Probably not with Ferrell as the lead though as I think just his presence would send the wrong message (which is quite possibly what happened here).

I read her book when I was a teenager and I was pretty sure that she did hate her father (both her parents in fact). I actually had the impression that all of his kids had fairly negative feelings about him. I guess she reconciled with him at some point.

Fair enough. Getting riled up is frequently a rational response to dealing with HOA/Condo boards; it’s not unreasonable that some of the response would transfer to a discussion about them ;)

“not strictly inaccurate”? Try “not inaccurate in any way”. I get your point about it being depressing but the fact that we’ve had two major party VP nominees doesn’t change the fact that we’ve never had a major party nominee at the top of the ticket (especially given the fact that VP nominees are frequently people

That’s not always (or even necessarily usually) true. They just don’t usually show the second floor unless they’ve done a bathroom renovation because the majority of the money/design is in the common areas. There’s a limited amount of broadcast time and “this bedroom used to have ugly wallpaper and now has paint” is

Huh? That tweet is talking about the nominee for president and she was the VP pick.

As it is now it couldn’t (and where did I say it could?). What we do have is enough professional and college facilities that we wouldn’t need to build them. That would have left a huge amount of money to repair and extend Metro. It’s not like they’re not already talking about shutting the whole thing down for 6 months

Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t realize I was talking to an idiot with reading comprehension problems.

A system in desperate need of the huge infusion of cash a winning Olympic Bid would have gotten us?

So much this! That was why the Baltimore/DC bid made sense. We already have most/all of the facilities we would need, tons of hotels, and any additional transportation infrastructure would still be useful after the games were over.

I know it’s not the norm; that was kind of the point of my post.

Um, except that he’s not giving that excuse. Did you actually read that article?

Except that supposedly that was one of the things that pushed Trump to run in the first place.

Exactly! Just label it “made with organic milk” or whatever.
