Once per issue. Almost everything required at least two trips (one to diagnose the issue and another to install the part after it has been ordered) but we only have to pay the first time. Also, you can have up to 4 problems with the same system that can be covered under one call/deductible. So for example when they

Not mine. Once you’ve made a call about the system if it stops working again within 60 days it’s covered under the original deductible and that 60 days restarts every time they come out. There’s also a limit written into the policy on how much they can spend to fix it before they have to just replace it.

The first house I bought was a townhouse with condo ownership. The only reason I was willing to do that was that our realtor (whose family had been friends with my family since before either of us were born) lived in the development, owned multiple rental units in the development, and was on the board so I knew I was

Plus who spends only 1/hr a month mowing in the spring/summer!? My parents have a like 1/4 acre lot, they don’t water the lawn or put fertilizer on it and they still spend at least twice that amount of time a month.

Well, there’s a contract that’s pretty specific about what is and isn’t covered and shit these days is expensive. When my washing machine control panel died they replaced it. I paid the $75 service fee and they covered the rest of the labor plus the cost of the part which was $600 by itself. Same with the control

“The first time the water heater blows up though...”

There’s insurance for that. For about $40 a month I have insurance that covers repair/replacement of all the major systems in my house. All I pay is $75 service fee. Some years we save a ton of money, so years it’s a sunk cost. I’m pretty sure we’re already in the

I once had a student whose parents owned a place that did embroidery on shirts. For Christmas all of her teachers got what I’m pretty sure was that exact shirt with our first initial monogrammed on it. Acting enthusiastic about it was probably my best acting job ever.

“Super lax fun seder” decribes my family’s seder to a tee. Last year I was 3 weeks postpartum and barely mobile but I wouldn’t have missed it. I did leave my husband at home with the older kids though so I wouldn’t be stressing about them.

First time I got tipsy was on Manischewitz the Passover that I was 13 (not coincidentally the first year I was allowed to drink it straight instead of mixed with Sprite)

My grandfather got transferred from CA to OK after pissing off Hoover* by marrying someone who associated with registered communists (some of whom wound up on the blacklist). After my oldest aunt got married they literally got in their car and drove as far away as they could get before running out of money for gas and

I’m gonna go with “no” to question 10 because it looks like there are two little kids there.

Me too! I love my rings but they really aren’t practical (and they’re fairly simple). At this point I pretty much only put them on if I’m doing something where I’m taking a little more care with my appearance than throwing on jeans and a tee shirt.

That’s exactly why they live in rented houses most of the time. They pretty much move the whole family to wherever the current project is for however long it takes and then it’s on to the next project/location.

Seriously. As long as there were no signs of foul play (and there don’t seem to have been) why do we care/why does it matter!?

I’d assume they’re free to sue if they want to.

You can always foster a litter of kitten ;)

Using the grandfather’s first name at all is a bit much to expect. I’d use the grandfather’s middle or last name as the kid’s first or middle name.

Haven’t we established that this is because of the eyes? Anime characters frequently/usually have large eyes which Caucasian people (not unreasonably) read as Caucasian. We all know people are crappy at differentiating between people of a different race so why would we do any better when looking at line drawings?

Agree 100%. I’ve been a fan of Hillary Clinton basically since she hit the national stage but I was mostly ok with the idea of Bernie as the nominee/president (his foreign policy weakness has always been concerning). Recently though he seems to be going off the rails and I’m really starting to dislike him.

Because he’s hoping that at a contested convention he can win and honestly, given enough ballots he probably could.
