Good for your principal! That was (at least) attempted assault and well deserving of a suspension.

Most of the products are probably safe. I was never an Honest Company customer because most of what they sell can be made/bought elsewhere cheaper but I respected the idea behind the company. It wasn’t until they came out with a spray sunscreen for kids *after* the FDA said they weren’t safe that I realized there were

Oh yeah, definitely avoid shampoo with SLS but in detergent it’s not a big deal for most people (although it would be reasonable to think that it might be reduce the lifespan of your clothes as well).

If someone had showed that to me and asked which random celeb I thought it was I would have gone with Celine Dion.

I think all those huge churches have a million smaller groups that you can join and that’s where the sense of community comes in.

Hillary Clinton has actually talked about this a fair bit through the years. She says her upbringing in the UM church is what led her to public service.

I didn’t see it either but lots of info comes up when you google “Bernie Sander Super Pac”

I don’t know why people (outside of the conservative echo chamber) keep acting like this is a thing. The FBI has repeatedly said she’s not even under investigation.

The opening the door part is concerning but “neglect” is probably taking it too far. For all we know the parent/guardian/babysitter was going to the bathroom and it was taking a while because he/she was *ahem* “backed up.” Kids that age can and do open the door; when my son was 2 he opened the door and ran outside

I would imagine it was the Brown family. They won that huge civil settlement that (afaik) OJ has never been able to pay.

If I accidentally leave my phone downstairs at night when I get up in the morning my camera roll will be full of pictures of whatever show they were watching on the tablet and their snack (dry cereal).

I’d say cabinet over Veep but yes, he’s obviously angling for a position in the administration. It’s basically his only shot at continuing a career in politics (at least according to Rachel Maddow).

My mom was just asking me today what happens to all the money he’s raised and not spent if/when he bows out. My guess is if there’s a lot of it he runs issues ads.

What polls? 538 has Hillary at over 94% and up chance of winning the next 5 primaries and after that there isn’t enough polling data to make a prediction.

Candidates don’t take money from Super Pacs, that’s not how it works at all.

Some very moderate Republicans may vote for Clinton but I bet more of them just stay home if Trump is the nominee.

It’s more complicated than that (it’s not a filibuster) but yes, the Senate can mess with things so they don’t really go on recess. Apparently there are also ways for the President to force a recess though. Basically it would be a huge mess. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recess_ap…

Right. They could theoretically continue to refuse to confirm her potential nominees but if they spend a year saying “the next president should make this nomination” even they would have a hard time refusing to at least hold hearings. If they do refuse to hold hearings/confirm an Obama appointee and then continue on

Saying you oppose a particular nominee is completely different than saying you will refuse to consider any nominee.

But again, you’re talking about an occasional thing with extenuating circumstances not every weekend for 4 months.
