No. And considering most of the time it will be shelved in stores alongside The Sopranos and Sex and the City and other HBO shows, I don't think chances are big that anyone will mistake it as family-friendly.

You mean the fact that the female protagonist has no real substance or agency, and that the entire series romanticizes an abusive relationship?
Oh, I'm sure there will be. There'll doubtless be more naked Theon and I bet they'll slip in some extra Renly/Loras scenes, too. They'll really have to work at including beefcake because this book is kind of light on opportunities for shirtless/naked dudes.
I voted for Game of Thrones because we got Momoa ass PLUS lots of other beefcake.
Wow, you must be the first person to ever suggest that.
I don't know, I wasn't so surprised by Peter's scientific knowledge. In season one he was introduced as kind of a genius — he faked a degree from MIT and published scientific papers before being found out, and he has an IQ of 190. But for most of the time since we've known him, he's had to be more focused on Walter's…
So the fact that I drank diet soda all through high school kept me from becoming a violent hooligan?
I'm getting sick of the "That's not what Terra Nova's REALLY about" tease with NO MORE INFORMATION. We get it, there's some deep dark secret, but can you start giving us something? Ugh.
I feel exactly the same way about the dinosaurs! And last weeks episode, with the pterosaurs? Really, nobody foresaw that flying dinosaurs could get over those fences or that maybe it was a bad idea to throw rocks at them? Everyone has way too casual an attitude towards fucking dinosaurs.
So really the problem here is that Pokemon comes from those wicked heathen Japanese people. "Oriental demons" my ass. This guy is delusional AND racist.
Huh, really? I got District 5, whose main export is power. I thought it was just random.
Way better. Until season 5 or 6, anyways. I definitely have a soft spot in my heart for the campier episode of TXF, but this one is just bad.
I loved this and I hope they make Inspector Spacetime a running gag throughout the season.
Dany goes to Qarth in the second book. The article mentions that the filming location will be used for King's Landing and Qarth, but it looks to me like all these set photos are meant to be in King's Landing.
Oh, I didn't realize it was up to them to determine which award they're up for. Thanks for the info.
I am all for John Noble winning an Emmy, but wouldn't he be considered a lead rather than a supporting actor?
With ASOIAF, I want it in paper because I want the maps! I want to be able to easily flip back to the maps and see where something is. With e-ink readers in particular, it's hard to zoom in on a detailed image like the maps in the series.
Maybe it would have helped if they hadn't chosen a cover photo of such a docile-looking horse. I mean, have you ever seen a horse's teeth? They can be scary! But that photo does not strike fear into my heart.
I loved Space Cases! I remember the Suzee reveal so clearly. It was probably the first time a TV show had given me a big cliffhanger and had me itching for the next season.
Suzanne Collins drew inspiration from the Romans. The nation of Panem comes from "Panem et Circenses" (bread and circuses). Obviously the Games themselves are based on the gladiators.
