That's how all the people in horror movies get killed! They ask the creepy child if they need help and then get within arm's reach and they're goners!

I know logically that Amy and Rory will have to leave eventually, because that is the way of Doctor Who, but NO I DON'T WANT THEM TO. I might be more attached to them because five was the first season I watched mostly live, without already being spoiled for parts of it or knowing who the next companion would be.

Normally I would agree with you, but I think in this case it's makes more sense. This woman was able to choose to have her child. Maybe she and her child get health care at PP. I think it's important for the GOP to see parents supporting PP.

Interesting. So the Observers used to be seen on the other side but aren't there in the present-day episodes? Hmm.

Do we usually see the Observer in the altverse? I pretty much never catch him anyways.

Definitely a combination of the two. We know from Olivia's history that her stepdad didn't stop abusing her. And since Walter didn't stop experimenting on her, either, she may have also lost the day care center as a safe space.

Because the cocktail Rachel mixed up was the leftovers from her dads' liquor cabinet, grape Kool-Aid, and crumbled up Oreos (for some reason). Oh, and cough syrup.

I definitely think of cyberpunk as being part of the dystopian genre, or at least being a close relative. If you look at Neuromancer or Snow Crash, especially.

You would think. They can do stairs. Like R2-D2!

I found it amusing. I only started watching Doctor Who last year, and that was pretty much the impression of the show I had before I started watching. "What are you doing, just push that Dalek the fuck over, what's he gonna do, roll over?" And having seen the show now, I'm like, "OH SHIT DALEKS, RUN!"

I thought Peter was being a dick about that, too. He's the one who's still hung up on Fauxlivia! I totally understood Olivia being scared.

Yes! I've already read this, so I'll definitely be here for discussion. I need to pick up the sequel, too.

They're being facetious.

Most PPs run on a sliding scale - if you don't have insurance, they'll ask what your income is and charge you based on that. When I didn't have insurance, my exam cost me about $80, but of course that will vary depending on your location and income. But if you go in and tell them that you can't afford it, they should

That would be amazing. I was just thinking about possible differences in birth control over there after reading a comment where someone wondered whether Peter and Fauxlivia used protection. I bet birth control would be the last thing you'd think about when learning about the Other Side.

YES. I love this comment. Virtual high five for you, sir.

Well, Alloy Entertainment, which owns Vampire Diaries, is also responsible for Gossip Girl, Clique, The A-List, and Pretty Little Liars. I'm pretty sure at least a couple of the other popular vampire series were created the same way. It's definitely more common than people know.

A lot of popular kids' series are still written for hire. Series like Goosebumps, Warriors, Babysitters Club, Boxcar Children, and even Nancy Drew are/were ghostwritten by other authors. I don't know if all of those examples are for hire, but it's still fairly common.

I think it will depend if they have someone ghostwriting under her name. If the name on the cover stays the same, I bet most readers wouldn't even notice the change.
