I liked it a lot. It looks like they're going to change some things up so it's not an exact remake of the UK series, which is good because I won't be bored. But the dynamic between the actors is good, and I even liked Sally, which is apparently the minority opinion. I think she'll be much more interesting when she

@JohnGreenArt: No, the Elder Wand isn't necessarily the physical wand, it's like the spirit of the wand. It can transfer to different wands. So Draco's wand BECAME the Elder Wand and the wand that Dumbledore was buried with just became his regular wand again. Then when Harry took Draco's wand, he had the Elder Wand.

@Shadowise: No, the film ended with Dobby's death, so they haven't done that scene yet. I think they'll probably start the next film with Harry talking to Ollivander and Griphook about the Horcruxes and Hallows.

@curphs: It didn't, it's been special all along. Harry realizes that his Cloak has protected them from spells that most Cloaks don't, that it's never gotten so much as a tear, and most Cloaks don't do that. Harry just never knew that before.

I really appreciate this post, MoGlo. It reassures me to know that if I ever need to have an abortion, I'll already know what to expect and how it works.

@HidingInCanada: YES. Starbuck is the most badass pilot in the whole series. I also love how everyone is "sir" in BSG, regardless of gender.

@alixana: I'm going to assume because of periods, but that's really a crap argument.

@bookling: So we find out that because the people on Godspeed have been breeding with each other for about 500 years, they all look alike. They call it monoethnicity: everyone has a medium-dark skin tone, dark hair, and really similar facial features. How realistic is this? Wouldn't you still have someone with blond

I just finished reading this, and I loved it (except for a few small things).

Seth Rogen is the voice of the alien? That's probably going to bug me. But I'll likely see the movie anyways, because hello, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

@Ack: I don't think so. I looked at that map and I was horrified, because MAYBE before you put a graphic like that up on your website someone should say, hey, somebody might take that seriously and think we're advocating hurting these politicians. I don't think Palin intended this to happen or that her actions

@Ack: There's a difference between blaming her directly and saying that her rhetoric contributed to the type of political atmosphere that would encourage someone like Loughner. I'm sure there are some people doing the former, but I've only seen people doing the latter. She needs to take responsibility for her own

@Zuldim: It's more like a title, really. There's always an Eldest and an Elder. There's something really weird about the whole system and the way it was put in place, but so far it's only been alluded to.

@Starlionblue: I was amazed that he got away safely. I saw him out there and was like, don't do that! Just let it go!

I just picked this book up today and can't wait to start reading it! That blueprint is on the inside of the dust jacket and looks pretty awesome.

@Andrew Bates: The more I think about it, the more I don't think she's another established character. In the first episode she was in, didn't she say that the Doctor was younger than she had ever seen him?

@Pavement clawing maniac: When was that established? Was it in the new series at all? I was trying to remember whether that was possible or not.

@Faustroll: It pisses me off, too. The part that really pisses me off is that it's SELLING. I work in a bookstore and every time someone reaches for that book I want to run over and tackle them to stop them.

@SuperNintendo Chalmers: Like a future regeneration of the Doctor? That would be interesting, but then why would she need the spoiler book? If she were the Doctor she'd have all those memories.
