@lozette2: Interesting. It just seems to me that even though NHS is tax-funded, that doesn't mean that they shouldn't pay up when they fail somebody like this. It should be incentive not to fuck up, because then they're accountable to the taxpayers.

@lozette2: Perhaps you should insist that the NHS does a better job so that they don't get sued, then. And it's not like the money would go in his pocket, he said he wants to use the money to help others with the same problem. I can't find much fault with that.

@Charlie Jane Anders: Was it? I must have missed that part. But still, you would think they'd just deactivate the card. It's not rocket science.

Man, that keycard thing really annoyed me. They think Faraday is dead, so why would his card still be activated? Even if they hadn't shut it down yet, you'd think after the first robbery, they would check and see whose card was used and then go, "Oh shit, Faraday's not dead," and THEN deactivate his keycard. Unless

@TheSuit: Especially when the Orwell logo said, "watching you". OMG WHAT COULD THAT POSSIBLY BE A REFERENCE TO?

Looks like it could be good, but I laughed when that 30 Seconds to Mars song came on. That killed any seriousness that they had in the trailer.

@mixedupfiles: Seriously. When I have a bowl of cereal, it's usually about two of the serving size, and that's still a very small meal.

I actually liked that there wasn't much of a romance/love story. You got the idea that Claudia and Finn might be together in the future, but it wasn't going to be because he was the prince and they'd been betrothed since childhood. It'll be on their own terms someday.

@squinko: Right, you can't possibly take care of that many rats OR yourself properly. It looks like they're just roaming freely around the house. I wonder if it was a breeding situtation that got out of control.

@Bizara: I felt like it was written to be a movie, but I cared more about the cool creatures and action sequences than the characters. I mean, the Grievers? Hell yeah I want to see those on the big screen!

@ProfessorSara: I loved Incarceron, but I'm in the middle of Sapphique now and also didn't want to read the review yet, so I skipped to the comments. It's really great so far! And I just read something that might give me nightmares.

@MissBuckyC: Yesss. I just got so indignant: "That is NOT the My Little Pony theme song, Ryan Gosling!"

@Nivenus: I love Monsters, Inc. but I don't really understand why there's so much love for The Incredibles. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like it a lot, but out of all Pixar's movies, it's not one of my favorites.

@SNEAKERS: Oh, well that explains it. It sounds like it could be his regular voice, but I couldn't figure out why he wasn't really singing at all. Hopefully he comes out with something soon, though.

Definitely needs some falsetto. That's kind of JT's trademark.

We just got this in at my store a few days ago, and I was so shocked and happy to see it! Children's books and toys are SO heavily gendered, and parents usually ask me for "boys books" or "girls books" that it's just incredibly refreshing to see a book like this from a major publisher. I really applaud these parents

This just makes me think of how in The Sims 3, if your pregnant sim eats lots of apples during her pregnancy she'll have a boy, and more watermelons mean she'll have a girl. (Or possibly the other way around, I forget.)

@Alibelle: I have to say I agree. It really creeped me out when I found out Angel was eating rats and creeping on Buffy from inside that blacked-out car before they met. WEIRD, DUDE.

@LadyCoCo: Me. Too. Except it's back up for me now.
