@team-science: Mmm, sounds good to me.
@team-science: Mmm, sounds good to me.
@lonelyinmynightmare: I'm bitter about the holidays, but for different reasons. I work retail.
@team-science: The free samples are one of my favorite things about TJ's. What did they have?
@PrettyPrettyPrincess: The pill making you sick isn't a guarantee that all types of HBC will make you sick, since all the different kinds have slightly different hormone levels and combinations. When I was on the pill it made me really nauseous all the time, but I've been on NuvaRing for years and no problems.
@Calisee: Agreed on all counts! Good riddance, Comedy Relief Ginger!
@katieupsidedown: I work at a bookstore and we've had regulars make us cookies for the holidays. One customer made us some for Thanksgiving, actually. It's always awesome to know you're appreciated, though.
@greydove: Oh! Haha. I totally misread that. You even had (my mother) in there and I just completely missed it.
@treehouser: ...are you Penny from Big Bang Theory?
@greydove: I know this is not the point, but does your three-year-old sister really drink Red Bull? Because I think there's actually a warning on the can that kids under a certain age shouldn't drink it.
@morphinejulius: Tim Curry is in The Color of Magic?? Holy crap, why has this been sitting unwatched in my Netflix queue forever!
@PrettyPrettyPrincess: I'm the same way, I can't take such a short nap. Part of it is that it takes me SO LONG to fall asleep — if I set an alarm for half an hour, I would still be tossing and turning trying to fall asleep when the alarm went off. The only exception is when I'm sick.
@Kassia: I think you should have posted the whole story initially instead of starting it with "attention women". It made it sound like you were talking to all of us, and hey, preaching to the choir, you know?
@arol: We gave her the basic rundown: Remember the really evil guy, Voldemort, who's always trying to kill Harry? He's back, he has a body now, and he's really powerful. He used Dark magic to split his soul into seven pieces and he hid those pieces in objects, which are called Horcruxes. Harry has to find all the…
@arol: Good luck. A friend came with us who hadn't read the books and had only seen the first two movies. She was still pretty confused.
@littleada: No, but he keeps coming up with reasons why she can't go and giving her sketchy drinks. The "what's the sense in hurting my pride / baby don't hold out" is very "you're gonna give me blue balls, don't be a tease".
@Erin Burr: Yeah, when my coworker mentioned it she also jokingly sang some of it, like, "Baby it's cold outside... I just roofied your drink... " It is a little coercive and creepy, but I think for the Kurt and Blaine version, at least, I can read it as being mutual but Kurt's kind of scared because he's never had a…
@SuicaLove: I am going to use this interpretation, I think.
@CondoleezaRicin: Well, I agree with you about one thing, which is that when running a story like this, someone should try to contact the company for a comment. I just sent an email about this to Wilton's customer service, for what it's worth. I'll post back here when I get a response.
I am really loving the Kurt/Blaine version of "Baby It's Cold Outside" from the Glee Christmas album, but a coworker kind of ruined the song for me by pointing out how the lyrics are really kind of rapey and creepy. The girl wants to go but the guy keeps telling her no and plying her with drinks! Augh. How did I never…
@greydove: Following you!
