@Joie de Vivre: Oh, I remember that one! That was weird. I was like fourteen and thought there was going to be sexy vampire sex, and then... that. What a disappointment.

It comes from the original vampire, Dracula! Vampires represented the sexy repressed sexuality of Victorians.

@Oleander: I would be named Ariel, I would have bright red hair, and I would probably be trying to make it on Broadway. (My two great loves: Disney movies and musicals.)

@MakeFetch: WHOA. That's pretty sick!

@DeLaMarMar: I have lots of favorites! But I'm in a HP mood right now.

@Ms Meghan is Reppin' the Triforce: I love Holly Black! I met her last year and she was so friendly and awesome. Oh, and did I mention REALLY HOT? Both my friend and I, who are primarily attracted to dudes, were in awe of her incredible hotness.

@SkippyTheMarine: I could never forget Bob, but he doesn't exactly hunt things, being a spirit in a skull and all.

@keyboard-vomit: But most of the comments are saying that fat women are ugly, which is unfortunate.

Damn it, I saw the Snood logo and got really excited, thinking it might be on Android. But it's not. I love Snood. :(

I'm so glad you included Harry Dresden! Dude had a ZOMBIE DINOSAUR in one book. He also has Mouse, the awesomest monster-fighting dog ever.

@anomaly_kid: Seconding this! The Monstrumologist is awesome. I was surprised by how queasy the monsters made me feel. That book is truly scary.

Felicia Day and big guns: what's not to love?

In what world is a noose left on your door not considered a threat? A noose left on the door of an NAACP office would certainly be construed as a threat. Even a noose on the door of a Republican politician's office would be treated as a threat. So why is it not being treated as a serious threat in this case? I bet if

@nerdycellist: High five for Bartleby reference. Damn.

The fact that they all referred to this woman (because even if she's a trans woman, she's a woman) as "it" disgusts me. I can't believe no one called them out on that. And the "tra-nade" idea only furthers the idea that somehow trans (or gay) people are out to get you, that they want to trick you into being attracted

@Archon Divinus: See above. I would love to, but I wouldn't even be able to get in line.

@ColinGagnon: That would be fantastic, but you need a copy of his new book and a receipt to prove you bought it from B&N to even get in line.
