I can’t give this enough stars! His Han Solo and Robotech (as “Jack McKinney”) books were my absolutely my favorites when I was a kid. Unbeknsownst to me, he actually lived a few miles away from my house, so I most likely ran into him at some point without knowing who he was. Sadly, Brian passed away in 1996.

That’s a bit too much Harry Potter/Indiana Jones for me. Personally, I prefer the simplicity of “Solo”, to be honest.

Yes. They really, REALLY should have gone with the Raiders/Indiana Jones title format.... it’s what they did with all the old Han Solo books.

Or some version of “Han Solo at . . .”

But Han Solo is an amoral smuggler and adventurer, who probably has more spin-off potential than anyone in the original trilogy. You could throw him in any number of stories. I must have missed the memo that announced we’re all supposed to think Han Solo is boring now.

Han Solo was never a mysterious character. He was

Saving for posterity.

Solo makes the most sense.

I think the “A Star Wars Story” will help categorize it away from the core story. It’s the new “Expanded Universe.”

Somewhere, Brian Daley is smiling.

I think the prequels were torture enough.

Should have been “One Rogue”

you haven’t lived until you’ve heard him do it in person.

yeah nah they’re dragons.

Yeah, I can’t imagine why they would’ve wanted to cast a fuckboy for a character who is a fuckboy.

God season 3 Daario was so bad.

Now playing

Creature from the Black Lagoon won’t kill you. But he will fuck you up. And everything else.

Spawn was a few steps above every other Image launch-titles with the exception of Savage Dragon. It had a cool mythos, a nice pacing, and interesting characters. Go read Spawn’s first issue again - it is very well done, it hooks you up from the get go without revealing too much.

because hes funding it himself.....that is why we are “letting” him write and direct his own movie with out experience......

The Deadpool movie got off the ground because Ryan Reynolds and some talented people got the internet talking about it. McFarlane probably figured there’s enough fans of Spawn to do the same thing, but, eh.

That’s actually the spelling in the MCU. It’s pretty goofy, but it is what it is. heh
