Well, Westworld, TNG, Voyager, Simpsons for sure but honestly...
DS9 had a DAMN good theme.
I’d say my favorites are:
I’m looking forward to the Hot Toys Hela.
John McClane would require near infinite Contra Level of lives to survive the Die Hard movies.
You could do a whole book just on the MCU characters.
Agreed. I absolutely want it to be a Star Wars Christmas every year till I die, baby!
Funny... no mention in the article about Chuck Norris. Then again, I suddenly can’t recall seeing him take any damage in his movies. Either my memory sucks, or that’s where all Norris facts come from.
Story-wise, they had a hard reset on IX after Carrie Fisher’s passing.
I dig Christmas Star Wars better anyhow.
But there are lyrics to the original theme:
“aaaaaahh-AHHHHHHH, aaaahhhh-aaaaaah-aaaaaahhh-aaahhh-ahhhh-ah!”
Seriously. I truly feel bad for whoever it was that came up with the visuals of the intro sequence. The history of human exploration and all the ships that we’ve named Enterprise? Absolute genius and obviously a labor of love.
I thought it was more that Roddenberry tacked lyrics on so he could snag the money. Lyrics that don’t scan to the melody at all, by the way.
If my heart were trying to take me there, I think I’d double check my map.
No.
FTFY
I have a feeling this film will be a grower. There is so much going on, so much cool stuff. It’s no 5th Element, but it’s also very different and episodic. Though I have a feeling that no amount of re-views will make Dehaan any good in this.
Dehaan and Delevigne were just non-French people trying to play French people.
I don’t know what that means (not a Collective Soul fan), but Garret Dillahunt has great range. From a hyperalloy killing machine in a skin suit to dopy family man-child, he’s always fun to watch.
