I think they can’t fire her because she is elected. Probably need a recall or something, which probably would fail in Ol’ Kentucky. Hell, they’d probably elect her again.

I somehow missed that it was Pinkham replying to himself. Brain fart. I was, truthfully, on codeine after dental work, which may have contributed to the “whoops.”
Oops, I didn’t look at who was posting. I obviously thought someone was addressing Pinkham. Brain fart.
Did you actually read the post? Try again.
I don’t want his dick anywhere near me! Agreed!
I’ve seen that now and stand corrected.
Yep, that’s pretty misogynistic and rapey, all right.
I stand corrected. I should have looked at the petition.
It wasn’t actually the “Black Lives Matter” group, but a different group co-opting their name. The group’s name was Agitators 360 or something like that.
Do we consider necrophilia rape now? I mean, I think it’s creepy and kind of sick, but rape — nope, not in my opinion.
Also, princess cut diamonds cost more than other cuts, possibly because (just speculating) inclusions are more visible, and so the stones themselves are a higher grade. A brilliant cut with some inclusions will often still look amazing.
What a great story. That restaurant rocked.
I have no idea whether this is restaurant related, but my high school principal was missing half of one of his fingers. School legend had it that he held up his fingers while yelling at some recalcitrant students, saying “you have this many days of detention!” to which one smartass replied, “Three and a half?”
Less than a month ago I lived in Washington DC. If you watched John Oliver Sunday night, you know that means that my voting rights were virtually meaningless. As a liberal Democrat, my vote was going to be with the vast majority, to the extent I had a vote. And if Congress didn’t like what we voted for, they would…
No, that plastic is supposed to be there to support the weight of heavy earrings. If you go to a findings store or a jewelry show, they sell both styles - the metal part alone, or the metal + plastic, which costs more. Sorry to disappoint.
We just moved. We have over 100 boxes of books, possibly 150. I try to only buy kindle now because I don’t want to take up any more space, but my husband insists on buying paper books anyway.
Yes! If it is true (and doubt that) my only reservation would be to get consent from the women involved.
I definitely agree that rehab and treatment should be a part of it, but I think punishment (proportionate to the offense, and with due consideration to mitigating or aggravating factors) should also be a part. It just should not be the sole goal.
Yes, and some dogs have to be put down if they are dangerous. It’s sad, but it is reality. I work with a rescue that attempts to re-home dogs with bite histories and behavior issues, and they do handsprings trying to retrain them and find them a suitable home. But not every dog can be saved. From the sound of this…
Yes, this. I had to surrender a cat because the shelter didn’t tell me he had to be an only pet and would hunt any other animal in the house and try to kill it. We spent two months trying to train and medicate the cat to the point where cohabitation was possible, but we failed. Rather than give up two other rescued…
