I agree. Letterman had to change his style and let go of some of his edginess, his outrageousness, when he took the 11:30 slot. He was competing with Leno for a larger demographic that included older viewers who wouldn't "get" that humor.

YES. It would be incredible.

When Craig Ferguson started on the Late Late Show, he DGAF and he was awesome. He said whatever the fuck he wanted about anything. And then, I could tell, they reined him in. And he was still good, but not as good. The Late Show is even more constraining.

Chris Rock is definitely good enough for the job, but I think it would stifle him. It may well stifle Colbert. The 11:30 spot requires that the host not be too controversial or inflammatory. Rock is at his best when he has no holds barred. He can do restrained, but I think after a few years it would wear on him.

Seriously, this woman is fucked in the head.

I needed this so badly. Thank you, Burt!

Human shit IS way grosser. I keep finding it in the park near my house. It looks different from dog shit, and the dogs go nuts over it - I have to drag them away from it. Just ugh.

Yes, it can. Plus they have been saying more than that. They have been saying that the allegations were long ago discredited, I know there have been statements about the motives of the women - I'm not sure what he has said specifically about her, but it should be in her complaint. I am glad she's suing. He will have

^^^^This. I just ignored the "friend requests" from those people. I was like, are you shitting me? Go away.

I have a sister in law who is delusional. She doesn't self-harm, though, so there is nothing we can do to make her get help. She's in her sixties, now, and has a fairly unhappy existence. It's unfortunate. I suspect therapy and medication might have been of benefit, but she wasn't a threat to anyone else or really to

Exaaaaactly.

I'm one of those people who was tormented all the way through school, from 1st through 12th. I am sure some of those people have turned out differently, but I was definitely scarred and have zero interest in giving any of them a second chance. I don't live near them, I don't have any happy memories of them, and there

hyperbole (h-pûrb-l)

So do I. I realize I'm not supposed to (gasp) but fuck it.

You, too, took me way too literally. I guess I need to add "j/k" to comments like this.

You took me way too seriously, dude.

How do waitstaff resist spitting into the food of patrons like Mrs. P? I've never worked in a restaurant, but I think I would have had to do it.

While it is right for us to remember the young women who died, and the senseless loss of their lives and potential, we should erase the names of their murderers. Perhaps just reference them by their initials when we tell the stories, in the hope that we can keep from glorifying them for future misogynists and
