Nonsense laden argument. Bezos’ wealth allows him to access tax avoidance schemes 99.9% of taxpayers cannot manifest. Bezos expends some of his wealth lobbying to insure his tax rate remains obscenely low compared to anybody who makes their money mostly from their labors.

To imply that the rich don’t have massive (extremely direct) influence on what we, the people, can actually achieve under the governmental rule we find ourselves born in to is suspiciously naïve.

It’s the guvmints fault! Pay no attention to the rich people behind the scenes manipulating the elections by dumping hundreds of millions of dollars to elect people that will reduce the tax rates of the rich to avoid having to pay billions in taxes! That’s just sheer coincidence!

Because they also lobby for those rules. They are only following the rules they create, pay for, and approve.
