Feel like nowadays it might be easier just to tell us all the days when a game doesn’t release lol

I think the biggest thing that probably keeps them buying is fomo. Even if you don’t want to, your friends might and then you’re left out of the online community. 

I played the game after most of the bugs were fixed and I thought it was pretty good. I liked the gameplay and found some of the lore and side stories to be interesting but the world and the story itself was lacking to me. 

This idea of paying more for early access is such marketing bs. Maybe if it were something like steam where you’re getting the beta version of a game. This is more like, if you pay 100 dollars you can get it on time but if you pay less, you’ll have to wait a week  

It seems silly to me to say this is a self inflicted injury when regardless, her being in the trailer got the plaintiff to watch the movie in the first place.

You are missing the point. If they can sell an older game on another platform, a platform with a smaller user base and for less money, them charging more for a lesser version is just greed

Is it really late stage capitalism or just capitalism working as it always has

I’ve always wondered whenever this propaganda gets parroted, why is it ok to obliterate a nation’s civilians and cause long lasting damage to those that survived the fallout just because it’ll end the war quicker. 

It is fascinating to me that we in the west somehow seem to think authoritarianism only exists in those other countries. As if time and time again we don’t see that when the people want real change, all of these governments will be as authoritarian as it needs to quell that desire and to maintain its power

If you are going to sail the high seas, get a vpn and make sure to turn it on before download. Also block lists, far from foolproof but better than nothing 

I could be wrong but it seems like something you would have to announce legally, being a publicly traded company. 

While it is great that they are trying to remove the exploitation financially; most kids’ stories I’ve read seemed to be more focused on the psychological aspects of exploitation. But I know that would be asking for too much

It is pretty wild that with all we knew about Musk before the deal, anyone not bigoted would ever think him buying twitter was a great idea for the company. The man was fined tens of millions of dollars over a tweet that was an unfunny, 6th grade level joke. That just screams great person to run a company.

Sure the really big name vintage lenses are pretty expensive but most are pretty darn cheap. Even some of the big name lenses are cheaper than a thousand dollars. Though honestly, if I’m not buying the real thing I’d rather purchase filters.
