So he gave up some of his bonus that was based on the company’s performance? Am I missing something because that doesn’t sound like a paycut, just a lesser bonus. Although given what his company has fostered and done to people that he absolutely knew nothing about, he should take a bigger cut. 

I hope the one thing people take from this is that when’s game comes out super buggy, it usually isn’t on the developers or QA. More often than not it is on the publishers

In general, no. Just look at the times this site will publish damming articles and in the same day or week will have a bunch more saying, omg another new game from those same people we published that article about. And then a month later there’s another damning article.

If you are at all socially aware of our current reality, regardless if their race or sexuality or whatever matters to the story, the importance is the lack of representation. As society has shown us that is not normal for black, brown, gay, genderqueer, etc.…

Excellent reporting but it just really sucks that we’re going to get another one of these because of the nature of this (and any capitalist industry). Though with that being said, please keep up the good fight and exposing things like this to us

Maybe it does make an impact on the experience of the person playing? I created a dark skinned trans woman in Cyberpunk and so far, it does nothing for the story but it does something for my personal experience. Maybe it’s just me but does anyone else kinda dislike the, use actor’s likeness for character design in a game? I don’t completely hate it but it just takes away from the immersion. I usually only see them as the actor and not a standalone character in a fictional world.
