As a GTA fan, it was nothing but disappointment for me this year. Even The Contract was a let down since some were framing it as single player DLC when it is actually still tied to GTA:O. I’m obviously in the minority though as Online keeps printing money

Oh no doubt, NFTs are way worse. My mistake if it came off that I was equating the two, I just don’t trust the collective gaming community’s ire.

I wonder how long before NFTs are just a normal part of gaming or what they’ll do in response that is slightly less egregious. Remember when paid horse armor was outlandish and now gamers wanna give companies a cookie for making cosmetic only micro transactions.

Please don’t look at Nike as an example. They have a much worse problem with bots that could easily be fixed lol. But the reason they’re probably not doing a direct only approach is because doing so would anger retailers.

Since we are being anti-scalper, there should be something for companies that paywall scarce items or force buyers to purchase ridiculous bundles. Or is it only bad when it’s individuals and not companies. Which is the way of the world, so I wouldn’t expect less.

Imagine if this game released at the time of the latest patch and didn’t have 8 years or however long it was, of hype. Might’ve reduced those negative reviews. There’s a lesson to be learned here but from the statements above, looks like next game they will release will probably have some of the same issues.

Also all the people that are crying about personal freedoms will gladly infringe on anyone else’s for “reasons”. Most of these people are anti abortion, pro drug prohibition, anti-sex work and/or a part of the police force. But now you have to face reality and you are kicking and scream to live in your fantasy land.

I would say this is ironic given Son’y recent statements about actiblizz but from personal experience, seems to be par for the course. Every time someone gets outed, others jump in to virtue signal and then later get called out for that same thing.
