Whataboutism would be if this person said, “well what about x gaming company?” in a way to make what these companies are doing not seem like a big deal. Asking if other gaming news related companies and people will follow suit is just calling out those other platforms

I won’t tell you how to spend your money but if you care even a little bit, you should stop buying actiblizz games. Though you should just stop in general since we already pay them hundreds of millions of dollars via taxes.

It’s the same “it” that made people of my generation “overuse” a word that the previous generation complained about. I wish more games followed this trend. Don’t show me some rendered footage or a pre alpha slice of the game that probably won’t be indicative of the final product. Game development is such a long process and so many things change from the initial pitch to the gold master, so showing me a game years before release…

I always wonder, how less toxic gaming would be if it wasn’t pushed as an all boys club for the bullied when I was growing up. It seems a lot of this stuff stems from, formed bullied boys who now have some kind of authority and are drunk off a wee bit of power.

Wouldn’t say, getting stuck on the earlier levels also ruin the game for the person playing it? Plus if the devs create with the easier mode in mind, I don’t see what the issue is here.

Well when your company seems to be about sheltering all kinds of abuse, even from people with chief in their title and the CEO is somehow oblivious to it, well those feelings don’t just dissipate after a few high profile firings.

Well I hope we are applying more pressure on these companies than the pressure we applied to Ubisoft’s CEO last year.
