I would actually say you’re not paying to get the game early, you’re paying more to get it on time while everyone else pays less to wait. Getting it early would be if your paid your money and they gave you the beta plus updates for said game until the 1.0 build.

Loot boxes are gambling and of the worst kind since there’s no regulation, you can’t resell the items and they will eventually go, poof, when EA decides to move. Yet for some reason people want to do EA’s PR work for free.

I’m the same way pretty much. I only play online multiplayer games if I have friends that will game with me and if the publisher isn’t a company I disagree with, so my options are severely limited.
