Not sure what I think about "SS" being a model name and not a trim level...they're gonna be screwed when it comes time to freshen things up. "Chevrolet SS SS"? 'Course, a manual transmission option would have had me forget all that malarkey.

I think the name has always supposed to have been "L'il Red Truck Express", not "L'il Red Express Truck." The former sounds cool—in a "Pony Express" kinda way. The latter sounds lame, like "This is little, red, it says 'express' on the side, and it's a truck."
