Nope, Luisa would be why Jane had Rafael's baby. And it's not Petra didn't want to ever have Rafael's baby as the show told us about the late miscarriage she had. Rafael seduced Petra from Lachlan to get back at Lachlan for being his dad's pet.

Yo, Alasdair… "Because most of these characters are more naturally interesting than Laurel, their drifting tends to be more compelling and better-handled, but even so: When no one quite knows why they’re doing what they do anymore, it’s really hard for the narrative to snap into focus in the way it needs to."
Ok ep for me. Some good moments but the show has been stumbling a bit IMO since the reset.
When did Michael pressure Jane about sex? I'm trying to recall the episode.
Not just that, but Michael didn't lie to be malicious. He lied because he was scared of losing Jane, which ended up happening anyway. And he realized he was wrong. Like you, I don't understand why some want to cast Michael as the devil because he lied.
I'm glad to see Rafael get layers but I'm still so meh about him. I actually am more entertained watching him with Petra than I am when he's with Jane.
This was a very uneven season. I didn't have an issue with the finale, though.
I know that, but is Sammi coming back? Will she be around and able to get him once he's released? They all THINK she's dead, so while we know better, the Gallaghers do not. If she isn't able to return, what would happen to Chuckie?
I'm glad you brought up Chuckie. Like what happens to him when he's released?
It's not a comparison competition on bad behavior. Worse behavior shouldn't cancel out bad behavior. I can easily dislike Sammi's directly cruel actions and dislike the family's casually cruel actions at the same time.
Good assessment. I do think that's why she did it.
IMO, Lip and Amanda were never more than friends with benefits, at least on Lip's side. I'm not surprised by the break-up and actually thought Amanda would go sooner than she did considering Lip's never shown any emotional attachment/feelings for her. I thought it was obvious she fell for him in late S4 but it was…
I enjoyed the first hour a lot but the second hour seemed off. I kept thinking it was a character's dream and not reality so when it turned out to all have really happened, I was underwhelmed.
While Jasmine Guy is biracial, Whitley's character wasn't. Both of her parents on the show were Black.
Yep. I know the ep. His grandson had similar issues to him, so it wasn't just that it would reflect back on him but also that it would mean he would be seen as ill and both resolutions were unacceptable to him.
I'm not a Sammi fan but I'm fine with her snitching on Carl, if only because I don't actually think the family would've helped Chuckie out. Their primary concern would've been saving Carl. I'm looking forward to the Sammi vs Fiona confrontation, but I hope it's at least touched upon regarding if the family would've…
It's no different than someone constantly posting about Laurel when the person doesn't like the character. *shrugs*
Loved this episode. A- for me.
I enjoyed the episode. Made me recall what first drew me in to the show. I'm hoping there will be a S3 and that TPTB have learned their lesson.
This was an outstanding episode. I think the most coherent overall too.
