does it not? aren’t we talking about who hurt the cheated-upon person? their partner. if the outside person is one girl or another it does it matter the identity of this person?
what was riley curry doing tho?
yeah fair enough, i feel like your points (and that of many other people here who are vehemently disagreeing with my comments) are solid enough from a certain ethical standpoint, and as someone who is more into meta-ethics—>moral relativism i can’t really argue against you without getting into fundamental differences…
but that’s the issue - people have different ideas about what is morally wrong. someone can have a clean conscience and not be a sociopath while simultaneously working within a minority moral position

i gotcha, though moral relativity is a pretty well established position. plenty of things that have been considered immoral 500 or 50 years ago are accepted now because of our changing ideas about what constitutes the social contract and what breaks it
yeah exactly - and, as i’ll keep saying, the conversation about ‘who hurt beyonce’ is different from the conversation about who acted badly and why and when and how
i don’t think it was implied that the cheated-on has anything to do with how happy and committed the cheatee feels
but i thought it was my mom’s embezzled money? unless she’s offering me cash to do with as i want, i can’t give it back
i feel like we’re conflating about 40 arguments around here - who’s a fault, the ethics of bragging, what relationships are, peoples’ right to their own secrets, what type of people cheat and help cheat, etc - and we’re all losing because in the end, the answer to all of everything is ‘your relationship is about the…
but the helping-someone-cheat and the telling-people-about-it are two very different things
high five
oh don’t you worry i know how it feels to be cheated on and its true its fucking shit but that other woman didn’t tell me she wasn’t going to fuck anyone else besides me and then did the opposite. even at the time i couldn’t have cared less about that other woman, i mean like logically i couldn’t blame her not that i…
true, but that’s not always the case
yeah, but errrrrrrything IS morally relativistic. morals are relative. i’m a big proponent of generally not just fucking other people up for fun, but i think sometimes you’re gonna do what you gotta do - so what are you going to do with that embezzled money? unless you’re giving it back, its gonna be spent by…
THE ATTENTION SHOULD ALWAYS BE ON THE PERSON WHO DECIDED TO CHEAT
that’s the saddest positive ever
but what was riley curry doing?
