They also do a good job of letting the seasons play out before hitting the big cards that define them. I think they do a good enough job of balancing the game that its not the worst having to wait through a season for some of these changes.

I’ll uhh... disagree with the premise, but agree in this context. For a friend.
exactly! this is what makes Snap so much fun. you can play into or around the mechanic of the zones. if you dont you just play the same deck over and over. zones are one of the things that makes Snap unique over other TCGs.
This was a really fun read, great article!
Good question! In the comics vampires were feasting on Spider-people to feed off their unique life force. I doubt that’s happening here, but it’s funny thinking about that now that the movies came up with a much better justification for the Spider-verse.
Very late but this, coupled with the next BP, Forge, maps, etc, does continue to excite me for Infinite. I’ve played it since launch and am very glad I’ll have reason to continue to into next year.
No you were right. It’s an unrelated argument that only serves to distract from the actual issue at talk.
Great write-up on this. I have personally been wracking my brain over this lately and don’t think an objectively or morally correct take is going to emerge. Ultimately I think the work the game devs and designers implement is most important to me in regards to Bayonetta, so I’ll likely still be picking this up in lieu…
To go a little further, I think strength of the assist is what matters most. The Halo Infinite community dealt with this recently where it was too over-tuned in favor of controllers to the point that they outperformed MKB players. It is unfair at higher settings, and the question shouldn’t be “on or off” as far as…
People mix up “detailed” for realistic a lot.
I completely understand with what you’re grappling with. It’s the eyes that look straight out of every other Illumination movie (Sing, Minions, Life of Pets, etc) that make it look “wrong”. Obviously his costume was going to be different but it really makes him look generic compared to his usual iterations.
OW1 accounts skip the phase where you unlock characters and chat, which is something. Your skins I believe transfer over too. It’s not ideal but going F2P and taking steps to combat smurfing and toxicity only improves the experience overall, imo.
Maybe give this any amount of critical thought and come back later.
Totally agree. Almost didn’t beat 3H due to the minimum 1hr of kid management between every major level. That needs toned back or I’ll probably skip this one.
If only the article specifically mentioned that...
I like the thought you put into your list. Although, I can’t replay the original Borderlands, it’s so samey and slow paced to the others that (gameplay and re-play wise) I can’t go back to it any more. That’s the only one where I think I agree with the original article.
This is the third release of a game called Modern Warfare 2. How the f*rk are they greenlighting this shit?
No amount of money is worth the incessant whining that the Halo fanbase doles out. It’s disgusting.

Sure the problem starts with them setting bad expectations, but it also bleeds over the fanbase being shitty. With the response that comments like this and their subreddit give them, I’d have walked and left us far behind by now.
